I generally dont follow the 18% crowd if you will check it out, so I doubt my feelings are getting in the way of any observations either of us may make. Again, you might want to check my previous post for several reasonable reasons, none of them having anything to do with any of the nonsense of them being my favorite team. If Randolph was on U of L, Florida, or Duke, I doubt I would ever pose such a preposterous question because I simply dont see the likelihood of it happen. It makes no sense from either side. It has nothing to do with wanting a guy to stay four years for me, it has to do with does it really make sense. A week, two weeks? Longer? How long is the guy not working out that a team would need to go find Randolph on the waiver wire and risk the bad press? I dont know how convinced, or even how convinced I am that Randolph can be an effective NBA PF. Slow of foot and doesnt really guard the dribble very well, not have a little handle himself. Is he really the answer when there are guys with experience out there like the Paul Shirley's and D-Leaguers? You can construct your own hypothetical if you want. December 5, 200619 yr I can find several guys that are sitting on NBA benches, inactive lists, and D-League teams, without mentioning the out of work Keith Van Horn, Vin Baker, and Brian Grant. A few guys with minimal statistics or none at all listed as on NBA team that could be traded for or would potentially become available later in the season are: Your boy Max. Brandon Bass Mark Madsen Maurice Taylor Nikoloz Tskitishvilli Sean Marks Brian Scalabrine Danny Fortson Othella Harrington Pat Burke Pat Garrity Malik Rose Bo Outlaw Darius Songaila Melvin Ely All of these guys are experienced and for one reason or another are not playing or are on inactive lists. I'm having a tough time finding the guys who are with no teams at this point. They are likely playing small ball and dont keep a list. I think most teams would make an effort to get most of these guys over RM.

Whether other players might be more worthy of a roster spot than RM is completely irrelevant. I am simply pointing out that it is possible that he could leave midway through the season, were he to make a big enough impression on NBA scouts through quality play.

I think with all the bad press this would get, it would never happen. I know you and some people are wanting it to, but I seriously believe Morris is committed to UK would not up and leave in that situation either. The only way I see him leaving would be for him to wait until April.

Your dislike for UK fans is evident, and I believe this would just make your day if it was to happen, but it won't.

Those names were for GT since he was, with reason, all over my Paul Shirely comment. Other players being more worthy is irrelevant? I dont think so. If guys are available and more worthy, then Randolph is a non issue and I believe teams look at those guys before they do Randolph b/c they are looking for work, and RM is not necessarily looking for work.
