Newport has what it takes to beat Lloyd. If they put in 4 quarters of work instead of three Newport wins. I feel Beechwood is going to be too much for either team.

Lloyd wins this one again. It is a home game and their starting running back is at full speed. The last time these two teams met it was his first game back over a month and you could tell he was rusty. Lloyd 28-7.

This is a very good first round playoff game. Newport needs to play better as a team and they need better offensive flow. Also, if Lloyd gets more than a one score lead in the game, that will be trouble for Newport. I pick Lloyd to win but turnovers or a big play or two could cause it to go either way.

Lloyd does not have a potent offense. If Newport can get a lead of 2 scores or more Lloyd will be in trouble.
