Who wins this battle of the top 2 teams in the BluegrassPreps 1A Top 10? This matchup is also a district game as well with home field implications for the first two rounds of the playoffs. Pikeville is one of two teams undefeated in Class 1A at 7-0. Hazard comes into this matchup at 5-2 on the season.

This is a big one. One of the best games in the state this Friday. I honestly don't know what to expect in this one. Pikeville has been a tough read this year, and Hazard is always a tough team to get a read on. I look forward to this thread and seeing what everyone is expecting Friday night.

To this point, do you think Pikeville brought their A game versus Paintsville and Raceland? No matter which answer is correct, Hazard should feel good about their chances.

I am going with Hazard by 6.

For Hazard to win they must limit big plays and get pressure on the quarterback. Hazard has seemed to do that these past few weeks.

I think Pikeville wins 1A this year and I think they win this game 27-20.

Give me Hazard by a score. Pikeville is certainly one of the best in 1A, but I'm not sure that the ARE the best.

Should be an incredible atmosphere. Number one versus number two doesn't happen every year in the regular season, especially in 1A.
