They didn’t agree with me, but they did it see it live unlike me. But it was a heck of a last few minutes that I got to watch of it.

I’m surprised Desales blew a big lead I know it was early but maybe that gives the rest of 3A some confidence that Desales is beatable.

The Colts give up less than 50 yards per game rushing. CAL stopped trying to power run and went to throwing, where Desales is vulnerable. PT of course could not do that, CAL can. A team with a good ability to throw can take Desales if they can stop that pass rush.

 

Of course, the monsoon conditions I’m sure were a factor.

It looks like if it was pouring down rain that would’ve hurt a passing team more than a running team.

Both teams played their guts out. Was really impressed with each team.

I'm not very good with Twitter, but someone posted these pictures that appear to show that the receiver did not have control of the football. Apparently, he regained possession after the ball bounced on the turf. It was a heart-breaker for CAL, but I don't think the Referees were biased as some have said on Twitter. These guys try their best to make the best call as they see it. He was in good position to see the play & he didn't hesitate to make the call. It was a tough ball game. Nasty weather, with rain and gusting winds. I'm sure both teams will say "what if" a lot this week, but the truth of the matter is that both teams have some really talented players, & both still have Mercer to worry about. Mercer is very good also!! Somebody is going to have their heart broken in the playoffs.
