A first for me was seeing QB lineup behind center to take snap and try and get 1 yard for first down, but fumble and gets scooped up and ran in for TD. Guess when always in shotgun makes that play more difficult plus with wet ball.

Conditions seemed perfect for an upset. Kicking four field goals is a good way to keep games close and allow teams to hang around. Red zone/ short yardage seem to be an issue the last two years.

Yes, they are like an old school football team.

I was really close on this one I picked Manual 20-17. I’m really happy for Manual it seems like they are an afterthought when it comes to high school football in the city of Louisville and I’m glad to see them get this win.

Manual is a very Junior heavy team.

On the positive side if you’re a St. X fan, take care of business and you’ll get another opportunity at Manual in November.

Future as in long term. You should know by looking at Trinity last year vs this year. All those talented Sophomores are now Juniors and making an impact this year. Doesn't happen overnight.

Manual only has 9 seniors on the roster. The future is bright there
