You may be exactly right. However, as we seen with other teams with new coaches sometimes it takes awhile to fully sink in. The Colts went from having a horrible roster to having a new coach last year and starting 1 and 5 and managed to turn it around after having a terrible start and looking bad doing it.

The Bengals defense have picked right where they left off the first half. Another wide open receiver from only 3 yards out for another 49er touchdown extra point good. San Francisco 31-10 with 12:10 left in the 3rd quarter.

I would say the D has quit but you have to start before you can quit and they never did, just pitiful!! How many plays have you seen where they turn around and look at each other like they don’t know what they’re doing, which they obviously don’t!!

Hard to explain the lack of motivation, effort and preparation today. Really embarrassing display. That being said, the Niners are likely to start 4-0 but they have a tough schedule. Other than holding penalties and the soccer kick (actually a nicer looking kick than Bullock’s miss), I like everything about the Niners today and can’t find anything positive to say about the Bengals’ pathetic performance. The Niners look like a playoff team today with their second straight dominant road win.
