The running game for St. X will be interesting. Male will give them so looks defensively that will be in St. X’s favor in terms of numbers in the box, if St. X can take advantage of that Male could have some problems.

Should be a good game. Probably within a touchdown either way. I am slightly leaning towards St. X due to the fact that I am not sure Male has the QB to exploit St. X’s primary weakness: secondary. Fortunately for the Tigers, neither have their first 2 opponents. The front 7 is outstanding, but the defensive backfield is still unproven against a legitimate passing attack.

With Future Tiger Night this Friday, St. X could be rocking.

Probably packed house with good weather forecasted.

I really like how St. X’s QB, Bodhaine, has played these first two games. He seems very confident and looks much more comfortable when throwing the ball.

A good in game battle will be Male’s running game vs. St. X’s run defense. Male’s OL is very physical and if they can open up holes like they did against Ballard then it makes the Male offense that much more dangerous because then the St. X defense will have to add another defender to the box which allows the Male offense to use their short passing game more efficiently. The battle in the trenches will be key.

 

Also, I think the St. X run game will be very productive. Male’s four DL are decent, but at times it seems like they are relied upon too much ale plays and the LBers and Secondary are spread too thin, and then there are creases that turn into big holes once the RB gets past the first level.

I will take Male by 10 points.

Coach Wallace has over 600 plays in hudl. Obviously there are bread & butter plays they do every game but I’m sure they will have some new wrinkles to throw them off.

Yeah, I don’t think so. Wolfe is good but let’s not forget that his team lost to St. X’s backup QB and came dangerously close to being beat by their 3rd team QB. But we’ll see what happens on Friday.
