Who wins this matchup? Newport Central Catholic is coming off a loss last week to 5A Cooper 13-7.

Roger Bacon’s game last week only lasted about a quarter and a half. A player on the opposing team head butted the official, and the game was called.

RB was up 23-8 and was about to score again.

From the video I saw, RB seems like a pretty decent football team. NCC is in for a tough game.

Is that the end of that player's high school sports career?

Here is a link to a story on the game:

Roger Bacon football team defeats Dayton Dunbar 23-8 after game is called in second quarter

There were several unsportsmanlike penalties called before the head butt. With that fact, I put the coach on notice too if I am the OHSAA. I believe Dunbar has a new coach this year. I don't know if he has ever been a head coach before or not. Regardless, he is responsible for controlling his team. If your team has several unsportsmanlike conduct penalties (in a little over 1 quarter of action) before this happens, you aren't controlling your team.

Corey Kiner is one of the top RB’s in the state and will be visiting OSU, Saturday after the game vs. NCC.

Bacon baby...

A few too many athletes, I'll take the Cincy team by 14-20 points.

Roger Bacon will be broadcasting the game via The Roger Bacon Spartans Network.
