Should be an interesting matchup.

Don’t know anything about Mingo. Pikeville was very disciplined and well prepared, and their run game better than anticipated.

Mingo Central's got some players, but I think Pikeville has more. Give me the Panthers by three scores.

Get ready for some points!

Mingo Central will be one of the Top 5 2A teams in West Virginia, and if not for Bluefiled being loaded to the gills and untouchable, may very well have been a Title Contender.

The Miners have plenty of Offensive Weapons including a veteran gunslinger QB and a WR who will be playing on Saturdays at some level and will have a size advantage in the trenches.

With that said, their Head Coach is a very intelligent Offensive mind, but they are far from the Iron Curtain on Defense.

Additionally, this game has MAJOR meaning to Mingo Central. The Miners are kind of viewed as the step son in the area despite recently winning a State Title. This is the first crack at one of the local powerhouses across the river in Kentucky and you can bet this game has been circled for a while. I expect this to be one of the most attended PCB game in recent memory and a wild environment.

Pikeville's Defense is not quite as stout as they were last year in the Front 7, but their Offense may be equally as dangerous if not better.

I think this will be a wild one that may not end til after midnight with the late start. I just simply think Pikeville is a more complete team and a little better conditioned and fundamentally sound.

I'll take Pikeville in a wild one 46-34

Bad decision by Mingo coach. After 3 and out, they try to be cute and quick kick but the snap is high and the QB is tackled giving Pikeville a short field.

4th and Long at 22, MacNamee to Hensley for the Pikeville Touchdown
