You can't really beat a 15-0 season ending with a State Championship over a team that seamed destined to win it all, but can South Warren repeat that perfect season? Are they ready to start the season versus a ranked Class 6A team? Will Butler put an end to the Spartans attempt to repeat perfection?

Fascinating game here. South will be young in many areas and Jacob Lacey ain't walkin through that door. BUT, the stable isn't empty either just inexperienced.

Butler had a very good squad last year, but lost some guys too (1 to UK), so not sure what will happen, but I picked South because of the Brandon Smith factor and playing basically at home. The new South QB will be a star before he leaves the Spartans, but its alot to ask a Sophomore, in his first varsity season, to do to replace a Senior who brought home a championship last season.

Going with Butler since return good QB and one of top receivers in the state with Watkins, and South Warren graduated some studs.

I'll take Butler.

Who wins this matchup? This game will be played at Western Kentucky University. This is a big time early season matchup with both teams being ranked in there respective classes.
