1. Congrats Albert, one of my all time favorite Reds opponents.

 

2. Shocked A-Rod is that high...very productive career for someone seemingly bashed constantly for lack of productivity by talking heads.

 

3. Lou Gehrig could rake. If not for ALS, he in all likelihood would be on top of this list. He did in 16 years what it took most others 20+ seasons to approach.

What a career for Pujols. He is one of the all time greats.

There is some controversy over the fan who caught the 2000 RBI ball not wanting to give it up. He says he is not planning on selling it. He wants to keep it or gift it to a family member.

I thought Albert's response was cool - "That's O.K.; let him have it." or some such. Great to see a classy guy succeed as he has.

Apparently the fan has now changed his mind and will give Pujols the ball back.
