I agree with you that the Ohio State-Michigan game is probably the best matchup in the nation as far a national championship goes. I don't really want to watch a rematch of those two teams in the Championship game. I would much rather see a new matchup. JMO.

No. For UM or any one else to get in, it's going to take a USC loss. Thus USC stock drops. If they beat LSU, that's loss #3 for the Tigers, and they drop big time. Florida will not be enough...

With USC's loss to UCLA it would make Arkansas's only loss even worse than before. Michigan has the advantage as the pedigree of their only loss can't get any worse.

I agree that right now the only thing keeping UM from a rematch is a USC win over ND. It would be interesting to see the value of a 1 loss Arkansas in my situation. Their best player didn't play vs USC, and he has and will have to prove his value to get here. I'm all for UM and Arkansas in the final vote...

I agree, but IMO the score of the USC game will be too much to overcome in the minds of the voters. In a sidenote in relation to the BSC thread, this is the best part of the BSC, all the discussion beforehand about who gets in and who doesn't!
