In two more games at most one of which being state Finals. I'll go with no.

I asked this question earlier in the year and got laughed at. But the way they are beating people it is possible.

It will be tough. First, we need two games. Secondly, if we are lucky enough to get the two games it will come against some tough kids. I'll take two wins! Records are meant to be broken. A title is somthing you will always have.

That isn't a record you go for as a team. Mercer has not ran the score up on anyone all year. I guarantee you this record means nothing to Coach Jaggers.

How many cumulative rushing yards does Mercer now have? Is Bryan Station's record still a possibility to fall? If not, how about Belfry's 2A record set in 2004 (the 2nd most all-time)

Of course it could. The question is not will it happen, it is simply could it happen. And that answer is yes.

 

But more than likely it will not happen, especially with semifinals and finals left.

I'll bet a nickel to a snail that they break the record held by HHS.

Mercer Co will need to score in the 50's this Friday,in order to have a chance of breaking the record. In the Champingship if Mercer wins this Friday, they will be playing Russell or Belfry, they don't give up many points. This is were defense comes in to play.Most of the time defense wins for you when the offense doesn't produce.So IMO no, Mercer won't break any scoring records this season, the record of 801 points will stand for another year.
