Pouncy was a coach back in the day & I personally witnessed him take a chair to a ref. This was 15 yrs ago. We all make mistakes, yet him ref games in the region & area that he is affliated w/ AAU teams, he or his bro coaching is unethical in my opinion. He used to coach n.ky tarheels & many players played on HS teams he reffed games...he's not the only 1 Chris ref games @ St. Henry & his nephew's played there.

The answer is yes. Fleek has had multiple 20+ point performances, a few double doubles, and led the team in scoring multiple times, as has Greene. Coaches seem to have a short leash on them and some other players and yank them if they make one mistake - which I am sure gets into their head.

Mayer played a great first half but coaches didn't notice when he was fatigued which was when he was a liability. I put that on them!

THIS. Mayer is the better player and was dominating in the 1st Half, but was visibly fatigued evidenced by his missing the wide open bunny, and dribbling the ball recklessly. Fleek would have made a difference in the 2nd Half. Lesson learned for the coaching staff hopefully. It’s all good-next week is when it counts, and CCH will have the chance to show if they are truly the best team in the 9th this year.

Not sure why you are comparing players but if we must, I think Thelen is the better player.

Hopefully CCH players and coaches can pull it together as a team over the next week ...

Giving my opinion. I said it during the game that Mayer was obviously giving the team an added spark, but by mid-2nd Half, Fleek needed to spell him more.

I see complaints about Pouncey but nothing about the trash coach Fredrick on the bench getting a technical for yelling and getting into a Beechwood players face. He should not be allowed on the bench if he is going to act like a 3 year old chile. He’s a joke and is in no way, shape, or form a leader of young men. He should be embarrassed.

He does have cool hair though.

I didnt see Fredrick get in anybodys face.

What I saw was him reacting to a BW players profanity towards a CCH player.

He jumped up to point it out to the referees and got T'd. However, he should know, its usually the person who reacts who is seen by the refs and not the instigator.
