I'm in some trouble... 5-5 and Clinton Portis just went down for the year.

I've just been offered Frank Gore and Randy Moss for Harrison and Barber.

 

What do you guys think?

I do not consider myself a fantasy guru by any means, but that trade is not even close to being in your favor.

 

You will always get solid production from Harrison and to a lesser extent Barber. Moss sucks and Gore is hit or miss each week.

You know I'm full of fantasy opinions:D

 

Depends on your situation. Are you still in the hunt for playoffs and payoff? If so, you almost have to make this trade. If not then you still have Roy and Donte as your WR's if you make the trade. Basically IMO you would be trading Harrison for Gore. You need a 2nd RB to go with Westbrook. Williams is coming off injury and will play sporadically. Barber's up and down and you can't really count on him to help.

 

IMO, I make the trade if I'm still in contention. :thumb:

No way you make this trade. Barber is a fine #2 back, as he gets lots of goal line carries. If you traded away Harrison, you would be hurting for receivers. And I'm still not sold on Gore.

You need another back but can Stallworth be counted on??? DWilliams got a good number of carries for the Panthers on Monday night but Carolina is horrible at running so even if he gets the majority it may not be much. Tough call but I think I'd do it.

Bell's first round pick was also basically wasted in Alexander. I had to take him though, 3rd pick, what do ya do. Hines was crap the first few weeks, McGahee has been a bust. The only mistake I'll admit to is waiting too long on QB's. The rest is just bad luck.

Light years ahead of me is a bit of a stretch Pat. You are up one game. Wow.

Plus, I think Pat's opinion of Gore is a little skewed b/c he got his hopes up early, and has pretty much burned him since til he traded him.
