John Hardin 72 Scott 69

Final from John Hardin. They remain undefeated overcoming a 14 point Scott lead in the 3rd quarter.

Sounds like John Hardin has their number in the fourth quarter.

John Hardin is for real and easily one of top 3 teams in the state

I just have to ask this question, JH has play Scott twice now and Scott has been in both games, can JH really be a top three team in the state?

Has to mean Scott is top 10 team in the state then, right? Scott should have beat them both times but the 4th qtr is haunting the eagles.

I understand, but the object is to win the game. Another point is that the state as a whole might be down a bit

Should at least put them in top 15, Scott has a nice team, but they are not a top 10/15 team in my ranking.

Can you really argue they should have beaten them if they lost in pretty much the same fashion both times? Can it not be the fact that a game is four quarters and that John Hardin perhaps has a better finishing kick? I'll clarify that I did not witness either game, so I am somewhat asking that as a real question. But it feels a bit as if now it is not a fluke.

Conversely, it could be argued that perhaps Scott simply has a good matchup in John Hardin. Scott has had some good showings - albeit in losses - but the loss to Bourbon County isn't of the same quality and the loss to Covington Holy Cross is putrid. Wins over Pendleton County in the season-opener and a Highlands team that had earlier in the year knocked off CovCath are really the only ones to hang their hats on.

So no, despite playing John Hardin well twice, they are not a top ten team, nor are they a top 20 team. They are a potentially dangerous team that you really wouldn't feel comfortable playing in the postseason, but not consistent enough to earn the rank.

My observations of Scott are limited. From what I have seen, they can be a very dangerous team but play really loose. While that can be fun for the players, it’s a bad formula against good teams. Shooting contested 3’s, loose with the ball when you have the lead late in games allows a good team to come from behind and win.

My opinion: coaches need to drive accountability for better in game decisions by players. Otherwise, this team may do a little damage but certainly won’t contend.

That may be the case, but I'm not sure this score in this thread is the supporting evidence you're looking for.

Possibly, but this was more of a testimony for them as they continue to win; regardless of the situation.
