December 2, 20187 yr It's not about what we need to see or not see...it's about the best teams playing. No one has played within 3 touchdowns of Alabama for just over a year, except UGA...and they've done it twice. Well the other teams looking in haven’t had the chance either.

No way some of those conference champs deserve to get in...heck I don't like the idea of ANY automatic berths, even for power conferences. If it's 4, 6, 8 or how ever many...pick the best and go. No way the PAC champ deserves to be in the top 10, let alone the playoffs. If Northwestern wins tonight, they still aren't a top 10 team and shouldn't get an auto bid.
