I would go. A couple of my friends and I have been looking for a good game to go in Indy.

Yes a couple friends of mine and I are heading to Cleveland to watch LeBron in January.

You couldn't pay me enough to go see an NBA game in person whether it's the regular season or the playoffs...heck I don't even watch them on TV much less in person.

 

Once basketball goes past the college level then I totally lose interest in it.

Yes I have totally lost interest in it. Just because someone clicks on a link and replies doesn't mean that what they type in is a lie.

Honestly man you are missing out. I know it seems to be a grind and I'd like to see the season shortened, but going to NBA games is great and it's the league with the best players in the world.

I agree w/ IAF. When I was in college, I watched Jordan, et.al. but mainly was a college basketball fan. However, when those guys went to the NBA, I followed them as a natural progression I suppose. The primadonnas I could do without, but that goes in every professional sport. And my son really digs it and that allows us more in common if I'm into it as well.

Wade in the Playoffs last year was something special. KG, Kobe, LeBron, Dirk, and Iverson do special things every time they play. I understand it's a different game, but I still think it's great.

 

If they cut the schedule down to 50 games the intensity and attraction to the league would rise.

The NBA is going small and getting up and down and scoring more. It's more exciting than a few years ago, or when some of us were in our teenage years. I believe we are around the same age statman, and I got away from the NBA little while, but I am back now.

I suppose that's in the eye of the beholder. Granted you'll never see the Princeton offense, although some compared the Pistons to them. Fundamentally, you may be right. But the professional game has morphed into something that is far different than the college game. I didn't want to like it at first, watching Shaq use his ginormous rearend to make space and dunking on guys who seemed to have position. But when I watch Shaq shoot free throws, it evens out for me. I suppose for me at least, the NBA has become an acquired taste. My 12 y.o. has more than likely been the major reason.

I would not go if I was given tickets, let alone buy them. I would definately be putting them on eBay
