Bally 7th grade girls are now 10-1 with the only loss being the first game of the season to the Holmes 7th grade team. They have a good group of girls and continue to play well.

What was score to Bally vs Holmes?

Cant remember exact score, but if my memory serves me correctly it was a single digit loss for Bally.

I got to watch Holmes' 7th grade team play the other night. Their offensive movement is impressive for a middle school team. They get after you defensively with their quickness. They have a nice little team.

Bally 7th grade girls improve to 14-1 with a 29-9 win over Gray last night. Thompson, Schilling and Bessong are all strong players with Price and Kemper as nice compliments to the starting 5.

Anyone hitting up the season-ending tourney at Notre Dame this Holiday weekend? Should be some decent action.

I don’t know if they’re undefeated, but they have a good team. There are a handful of teams that can win the 8th grade division this year.

I understand not all officials enjoy doing middle school girls basketball games. Just a reminder though, you signed up for it, nobody is making you do it. At least show some interest, cross 1/2 court from time to time. Talk to the girls, it’s school ball, not select, some girls need a reminder on occasion. No need to yell and point your finger in their face. You also don’t have the right to scream at anyone that says a word in the stands. One of these days a parent is going to lose it. I’ve seen it all year, it gets old

Can’t like this enough. And to add to it, don’t go sit in the home team stands between games or at halftime. It’s not a good look.

Here’s a first for me. Officials called a jump ball with 2 girls on the same team fighting for the ball.

And if anyone questioned the call they would immediately threaten to have you ejected and then would remind you that it’s a full season ban
