What are you hoping to see tonight that will make you feel a little bit better about the Wildcats and their season?

Not a UK fan, but honestly even if I was...nothing. It's North Dakota. The Cats could shoot 100% from all over the court, and it would mean absolutely nothing. I don't mean to disparage North Dakota. I'm sure their kids will play hard, but come on man. This game shouldn't even be played.

Thought this was an odd game to schedule. Is there some kind of connection to the Grand Forks area?

If this were hockey, the Fighting Hawks (Fighting Sioux, previously) would crush the Wildcats.

I'd still like to see things like them pounding the ball inside early. Less pointless turnovers without much pressure.

Kentucky 89-59.

I'm not positive on this but I overheard someone at work say North Dakota was the only state UK has not played a team from. If true no idea whether it had anything to do with the scheduling.

Every team plays these games, and have for years, including whichever team you're a fan of.

That would make sense (the North Dakota fact). North Dakota and North Dakota State are the only two Division 1 programs in the state, and both are relatively new to Division 1.

It's actually going to feel like North Dakota in Lexington tonight.

Oh, I know. Doesn't make me a fan of them. Giving the Little Sisters of the Poor a check to take a beating just doesn't make any sense to me. There's absolutely nothing positive that can be taken away from a game like this. UK practices would be more telling on how players are performing.

ND should feel right at home. Maybe the game will be shirts vs. skins.

You can’t play a ranked team every game. All major programs in all sports play games like this.
