I was very impressed with the atmosphere and facilities at Russell last year. It was electric and fun even as a member of the visiting team.

I'll take War Memorial Mayfield or Danville's Stadium come semi-finals, but I am a little biased,

The atmosphere is created mostly by the matchup and fan base of the two teams playing. A lot of nice stadiums can host this!

100% correct, fans are the difference.Along with the match up of course.

I have to go with the LexCath at Highlands game last year. I love the surroundings there and the school building across from the stands echoes the crowd noise and I guess that infernal cannon which we didn't get to hear much.

I just have to ask, would you have felt the same way if you had lost. If the crowd noise was all Highlands and the cannon was on rapid fire all night. Just curious.

Big games at David Cecil have a very good atmosphere.

As a Tomcat fan.... I'll go with historic Putnam Stadium in Ashland.

Has to be.....

The Regional Championship game last year @ William Clark Field here in Somerset was pretty electric.

Highlands only if it is a big game(late round) is it loud. Last week the stands were only half full. I know the opponent had a lot to do with it. Everyone there was just sitting waiting for the blow out. But, when it is a big game

against a top team it is loud. The stands being right on top of the opposing

team, along with the echo off the school it is awesome and intimidating.

Then when you are getting use to the noise BOOM! It catch's gets me off guard.

I totally agree, I think the HHS and CCH game will have as good or even better atmosphere as the state championship game.
