Georgia has scored over 30 in all their games besides their only loss in which they scored 16 against LSU. Is UK's D better than LSU's? If the D has an off day this could get ugly because I personally don't see UK's offense putting up 30+.

And I know common opponent isn't the best measurement but Georgia scored 43 at Mizzou.

Kentucky is only allowing opposing teams to score something like 40% of their season average. Georgia averages 38.6 points a game. That would be just over 15 points. If the Cats hold them to 15 or less, I think you have to like their chances.

I wanted to find Georgia’s stat on this because I was curious about it. I adjusted both of them for Power 5 teams.

Opponents PPG as % of Season Average:

- Kentucky 41%

- Georgia 68%

Scoring Offense:

- Kentucky 20.33

- Georgia 35.8

Prediction (Points)

- Kentucky 13.82

- Georgia 14.68

If you want to rely heavily on this stat then this game should be really close.

I'm really surprised, even being in KY, that the poll would be this close (30-23 favoring Georgia). While I think it would be a great story for UK to pull off the home win, I expect Georgia to win by 3 TD's in Lexington tomorrow.

UKs front 7 is probably better than LSU. LSU has the best secondary in the country though. As a defensive unit UK is playing better though.

I don’t think Georgia will roll through Kentucky’s defense to that amount. The Cats have a solid D. Georgia does have the more talented and deeper team. If they can withstand that sellout crowd and the extreme noise levels they should win by a score of 7-10 points, but not 3 touchdowns.

It's the #6 ranked team in the country on the road against the #9 ranked team and you're surprised a decent number of people are picking the home team?

Yep. Not one UK fan I have talked with in person believes UK wins this game. I doubt many of those who voted UK in the poll would be willing to put money on UK. Their defense is great. Their offense is not good. I want them to win and hope they surprise me.

I'm with this point from Voice. Further, I dont know anyone who thinks they are remotely #9, heck, it was mocked all over the place the day after the Top 10 came out.

Again, all of that said, I think for many reasons it would be great to see a UK win, I'm certainly rooting for it to happen.

Check out UKMFs pick in the Pick 10 contest.

I've been betting on the Cats all season. Ain't stopping now. Defense will be too stout for UGA to setup a passing attack. The thing that worries me a little is UGA's rushing game.

Now, UK's offensive line is going to need to throw down. They need to be nasty. UK's rushing game must be forced, it must be mean, and it must be consistent.

I've not heard anyone mock UKs #9 ranking other than the extreme haters. You can argue whether they should be a few spots lower but anyone mocking it is ignorant. Based on your last couple of posts I don't believe for one second you want to see UK to win.

Just because I believe they are over-matched doesn't mean I don't realize that a win for UK would be good for the state. Would be fun. I just think the gap between these two are wide.
