That’s good to hear. You know I’m not exactly a Louisville fan, but I do want to see them be successful as a program simply because it’s great for the state of Kentucky and all of college football. If they miss on Brohm they may struggle for a little longer than they hope. Brohms people and Louisville need to have the contract ready for Brohm to sign as soon as the regular season ends.

The reason, in my opinion, Brohm isn't already here is because of Tom Jurich. He and the Brohm's did not get along. It's my belief Brohm would have been here when Charlie left if it weren't for Jurich.

Bad look for an AD to not get along with one of the most influential football families in your city. Hopefully they don’t screw it up this time.

What would happen to the KY recruits he brought to Purdue? Do you think any of them would follow him to Louisville?

Jurich did A LOT of great things for the University. He clearly did some things that weren't the best as well.

Rondale Moore said Louisville was a "dream school" for him during his recruitment. I know we'd love to have him. :lol2:

That's the first person I thought of. I also thought of Boyle County Tackle Will Bramel who went to Purdue and this is his freshman year.

And be forced to sit out a year? I doubt it. If they chose Purdue strictly because of Brohm, they should have done their research.

I would have really appreciated it last Saturday if you all could have landed Rondale. Haha

I agree. His big weakness appears to have been the constant attempts to preserve his own legacy right up until the end. In this case, he went right along with letting his personal hire Kragthorpe use Jeff Brohm as a scapegoat for poor offensive play, despite that family’s consistent support for UofL.

I forgot about this post, and then when I came back again to read this thread, I laughed just as hard the second time.

I actually laughed harder this time.

Just trying to connect dots. Is this all linked to Kemari Averett?

That's definitely what I'm assuming.
