October 14, 20187 yr Author The Steelers are to the Bengals just as the Patriots are to the Steelers. We just can't get over the hump to beat them just like the Steelers can't get over the Patriots.
October 14, 20187 yr Author 46 passes and NOT ONE quarterback pressure all day, absolutely DOMINATED by the offensive line of the Steelers, that’s totally embarrassing!! bengals d line has made 2 plays all year and hat was against Miami with 3 starters out!
October 14, 20187 yr Maybe let the play clock run down before snapping the ball for one... that’s something they could’ve done differently. Which they did once they got to the 10. Rememebr they went from the 34 to the 11 yard line on the 23 yard pass to Green, and they then took their time. Once again nothing about that last drive was wrong or should have been done differently. Except for hoping the Steeleers tackle them at the one, instead of Mixon scoring.
October 14, 20187 yr I root for the Bengals since they are from Cincinnati, but I don’t get everything wrapped up in a bunch when they lose. They aren’t worth it. Plus I’m glad I’ve never given Mikey boy a dime of my money!
October 14, 20187 yr I understand that pick plays go uncalled all the time...However, you have to admit, that one was especially obvious. But, if it goes uncalled, it's a great call. I'm sure they knew they had a TD as soon as they saw how the defense was aligned.
October 14, 20187 yr Not sure how you can knock Marvin for clock management on this one... What were they supposed to do, not score? When they scored, though, I told my buddy I was watching with it was way too much time. 1:20 and three timeouts is a life time, especially only needing a field goal.
October 14, 20187 yr The hold was a hold. His arms went around him. Dre just has to do better. And the pick play happens in every NFL game and rarely gets called. And even if they call it, the Steelers kick the FG and win the game. The Bengals shot themselves in the foot over and over and lost this game themselves. They got absolutely no pressure on Ben all day. They squandered good field position a few times. They looked lost on offense at times. They couldn’t cover a TE all day long. The defense allowed third down conversion after third down conversion. The offense/coaching staff doesn’t understand clock management. The Bengals lost, the weren’t robbed. Tip your hat to the Steelers. They made plays when needed. Somebody with some logic and sense. :thumb: Well it's not really all logic and sense. He said even if the call the the offensive pass interference, they still kick the field goal. Well nope because that's a 10 yard penalty and out of field goal range. So Steelers would have had time for one play with 10 seconds left to get in field goal range. Also not much logic in saying they managed the clock wrong that last drive. There was nothing they should have done different on that last drive. Unless you want them to tell Mixon to not score. Imagine the up roar we have here if he falls at the on purpose and then the Steelers have a goal line stand. Now I do agree with the Bengals simply lost. Wasnt cheated. Steelers made the plays to win it at the end.

October 14, 20187 yr The first down play from the 11 that was to Green down to the 4 was snapped with 17 seconds on the play clock, that’s not taking their time.
October 14, 20187 yr Author Which they did once they got to the 10. Rememebr they went from the 34 to the 11 yard line on the 23 yard pass to Green, and they then took their time. Once again nothing about that last drive was wrong or should have been done differently. Except for hoping the Steeleers tackle them at the one, instead of Mixon scoring. But after the 23 yard pass foe the first down they snapped the next play with :17 seconds left on the play clock. If they would have took :15 more seconds off they would not have had time to run that last play would have had to kick a 50-51 yard FG for the win. That's a big difference..

Steelers made the plays to win it at the end. Steelers would’ve been about 4-5 yards outside of range if the penalty is called. With three timeouts. And with the Bengals not covering a TE all day, they most likely are easily back into range. Maybe not snap the ball with 17 seconds on the play clock is something they could’ve done to manage the clock better.
