Jack Sivori QB St X has looked really good.

Treyveon Longmire, Corbin running back has run for 251 yards on 30 carries and caught 11 passes for 227 yards for the varsity. He also has returned a kickoff for a TD.

 

Watching him last year vs. Boyle County (8th grade championship game), it was obvious right away that he's a special talent.

I’ve been impressed the most by his defense. Can’t be easy,at his age, to start and play as much as he does at OLB. Showing a lot of promise as a running back too.

 

I would add Brent Mckitric to this list. Very strong and great size for a lineman. Battled with some injuries, but will be a big contributor going forward. Brent has shown his ability to get to and pressure the QB on several occasions and probably has several TFLs, although I’ve no way to verify that. Good class top to bottom for Mercer County, as several others either have already or will see varsity action as freshmen!

You have to add Jackson Smith of Boyle County, kicker and punter who will be a division one selection his senior year. You can also list Zach Mason a 250 lb 6' 2" offensive and defensive lineman. They have freshman QB Cole Lanter backup to his brother the varsity QB that can play with any one at this level. These kids have already performed at the varsity level this year quite well.

Highlands has a big DE that has some skills Kissee. Campbell County has a stud QB Agee. Beechwood Tigers had a good little running back#27. Not sure on some of these names. Correct me if I am wrong. Colonels Have a solid tailback and Qb. Big Linemen that seem skilled. Ryle has some monster Linemen as well. Some good talent in NKY right now. If anyone knows names please enlighten us all.

Luke Richardson, Freshman QB for Franklin-Simpson. First Freshman to start at QB for the Wildcats that I can remember, maybe the first one ever, I don’t know for sure. I think he lists at 6”1” 185 (don’t have a roster in front of me). Hasn’t had to pass much as FS has a run-heavy offense but they are passing more with each game as the playoffs approach. Had 125 yards and 2 TDs last week. Tall for his age with good arm strength. Puts long passes right on the money usually. Bright future for the young man.
