Jumper_Dad Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Tennessee looked awful for most of the game, must have scored late to make the final look somewhat respectable.
Kentucky Windage Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Yeah, seen where the crowd started clearing out midway through the third quarter. I cracked a smile at that moment.

oldrambler Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 Florida isn't all that good and they just dominated the Vols. Pruitt, imo went into a situation that was worse than what he expected. UT has some talent and UT also seems to have a bad attitude problem. UT appears to have players that haven't bought into the Pruitt system, as well as his work ethic / attitude that he expects. I believe that Pruitt will get the job done there, it's just going to take time.
TTS_JF Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 @oldrambler I couldn't agree with your post more. I think Pruitt will be fine if UT gives him the time to recruit and bring in his guys. I think UT being respectable makes college football better for the SEC and it's been a long time since we've seen that. I'd like to see them competitive against the Bama, LSU, UGA of the world.

No doubt Tennessee being good is great for college football.

I am certainly no big UT fan so I'm not sure but it seems to me that Pruitt is trying to establish discipline, which any coach anywhere has to have to build a team. Pruitt wants to re build the program to what it once was. Working under Saban, he sure has the blueprint for success.
Phantom 5497 Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 TN, might call Brohm again. They may after he gets let go from Purdue
Jumper_Dad Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 Unless he is just an idiot like Butch was, Pruitt will get a few more years to turn this around.
