Tilghman played flat the whole first half and had no answer for Caldwell's passing game.

Couple a bunch of penalties and injuries for the Tornado and this is what we have.

Caldwell played their best game of the season and takes the lead in the district.

Thank you for the info @TilghmanPride

PT continues to struggle at passing defense, couple that with a dismal passing offense and it is a recipe for failure against quality opponents with a superior passing game.

I still think things overall are heading in a better direction, but there is still a lot of work to do.

We are definitely headed in the right direction. The team is loaded with talent and can go a very long way. It took a perfect storm of adversity for us to lose this game and it came together.

The coaching staff has to step back and regroup. We simply were outcoached by a mile tonight. The good thing is, the pieces are here to do something. Can the coaches put kids in better positions to succeed? We will have to wait and see.

Joby Jaggers: 22-29 passing for 331yds, 5TDs, and 0 INTs

The saddest thing about that is that we've seen every play Caldwell ran game after game after game.

The talent is abundant on this team. The defensive scheme we have worked so hard to change after the Mayfield game reared it's ugly head once more. The players are here, it's up to this inexperienced coaching staff to position them to succeed.

Caldwell has really played well the last three weeks. Those losses to Christian County and Hopkinsville earlier don't really look good, but the Tigers were committing a lot of turnovers and a lot of penalties in those games. Caldwell has really cleaned that up the last 2-3 weeks. No turnovers against Tilghman and just three penalties. And just a few dropped passes early. It was a pretty clean game for the Tigers.

They were tonight. It's very possible there could be a rematch in the playoffs. I'd be all for it.

Just seems like the PT folks are wanting to give due credit. Lots of excuses.

I don't see anywhere PT fans are giving any excuses, Caldwell was the better team.

They scored more points, and therefore won the ball game.

There are only two PT posters on this thread so far, so please quote and show me where we were making excuses so that I can understand.
