Caldwell County 37 Paducah Tilghman 22

Featured Replies

Tilghman played flat the whole first half and had no answer for Caldwell's passing game.

Couple a bunch of penalties and injuries for the Tornado and this is what we have.

Caldwell played their best game of the season and takes the lead in the district.

We are definitely headed in the right direction. The team is loaded with talent and can go a very long way. It took a perfect storm of adversity for us to lose this game and it came together.

The coaching staff has to step back and regroup. We simply were outcoached by a mile tonight. The good thing is, the pieces are here to do something. Can the coaches put kids in better positions to succeed? We will have to wait and see.

They were tonight. It's very possible there could be a rematch in the playoffs. I'd be all for it.

I don't see anywhere PT fans are giving any excuses, Caldwell was the better team.

They scored more points, and therefore won the ball game.

There are only two PT posters on this thread so far, so please quote and show me where we were making excuses so that I can understand.

Certainly comes across as not giving due credit to Caldwell. Seems like an attempt to excuse why PT lost. None of which was that Caldwell is just better.

If you feel making observations of what happened as excuse making and it makes you feel better talking about it, have at it.

I think you do realize these are things that are said quite often on posts about many games. That doesn't mean it's not true.

Rocket, you are quoting Tilghmanprides' ----observations and facts--- as excuses.

PT played flat and had no answer for Caldwells passing game- check the stats

PT had injuries- leading rusher and tackler out--fact

Out coached -must of been, also that is a compliment to Barnes

Also we both said Caldwell was a better team in that game, they scored more points and that is the proof.

I don't see Caldwell fans on here trying to make your arguments so I'm not sure where you are going with this. If you would like to discuss anything that happened during the game I would be happy to discuss that. Other issues should just go on Facebook.

Here are some facts!

Caldwell is better! PT had ball over 36 mins, and roughly 80 plays and still couldn’t score more points to win. Why not say Tigers defense was a beast and hard hitting, that may have caused injuries. Lastly, PT hasn’t beaten Caldwell since Caldwell moved up to 3A. Those are facts, and yes I’m a Caldwell fan, who thinks There are a lot of excuses on the loss! Thanks Rocket

The injuries happened in the Hopkinsville game, hope this helps

Caldwell is the best team in the nation of all time, they could beat the Patriots.

Lol, Caldwell not a great team, just better than PT. Caldwell will lose to Mayfield, and Boyle County since Etown is not as good as they have been the last 3 yrs. But thanks for the complement!

What is wrong with some of you?
