Louisa = Bulldogs..... Red/Black

Mckell = Bulldogs..... Blue/Yellow(gold)

Wurtland = Warriors....Black/White (red trim)

Mckell & Wurtland joined Greenup High School to form what is now Greenup County High School.

Greenup high school= Tigers..... Green/White..... as far as I can remember did not have a football program.

Probably because it was a football board, but that's still a great nickname. I think I know the answer to this, but did Wayland ever field a football team?

It looks like by combination of schools, they also combined the old colors at the new schools.

Actually SV took Virgies colors and Dortons nickname.

I think Louisa were the Panthers and they were black and gold.

Pretty sure it was the Louisa Bulldogs...

You didn't ask for these, but in case anyone is interested:

Lynch Bulldogs (black and gold)

I didn't know they were black and gold. Not saying they weren't but my Papaw's old jersey was yellow and white along with a bunch of other Lynch stuff. I also have a hat that is navy and yellow. Weren't they technically the Golden Bulldogs? Not trying to correct you, just curious.

Berry High School Eagles 1916-1950

Buena Vista High School 1910s-1950

Connersville High School 1910s-1950

Oddville High School 1917-1950

Renaker High School 1910s-1950

Sunrise High School 1910s-1940

Cynthiana High School Bulldogs 1900s-1950

All of these school now make up Harrison County High School

It's been a while since I saw Lynch play, and I don't know if I could tell the difference between yellow and gold. If they were the Golden Bulldogs, which I think is right, shouldn't gold be one of the colors?

How about Carr Creek and Brooksville. No info but both won basketball titles.

Bush High School Mascot was the Blue Devils

Lily High School Colors were Black and Yellow (Gold), same as Middlesboro.

Pretty sure it was the Louisa Bulldogs...

I think panthers is the Louisa middle school. Louisa High was the Bulldogs
