Laker 114 Suns 106- Nice win for the Lakeshow without Kobe. They were down 19 in the 1st Quarter and came back nicely. Very nice game for the youngster Bynum and Odom had an aswesome game.

I was shocked to see Bynum's development. 180 from what I saw of him as a rookie...

I disagree, but they aren't using the best players. Put Kobe, LeBron, Wade, Garnett, and Amare Stoudamire on a team and just run up and down the court.

This has become the trend of sports, has it not? I remember the Yankees/Red Sox were the only game two seasons ago (cannot remember this past season in MLB), and the NFL starts on Thursday with one game.

That was the most shocking thing I had ever seen. You can tell he has a lot of work to go, but is going to be a balla here in the next year or two.

Miami's loss was BY FAR the worst in history for a previous year champ on opening night the next season. Losing by 42 to the Bulls completely obliterated the old standard - the old record was a 15-point loss. The Heat had nothing besides Wade last night, and hopefully playing in the World Championships won't wear him out by season's end.
