September 17, 20188 yr Author ^ times 100, believe Deuce was saying fans. Nah. He meant Stans. The fans who are so obsessed with him, like Stan, in his song.
September 17, 20188 yr Nah. He meant Stans. The fans who are so obsessed with him, like Stan, in his song. Man, I’m becoming too far removed from the year 2000. Sad.
September 17, 20188 yr I watched the video. I almost wish I hadn't. Perhaps if I'd just listened to him rap I could've appreciated it more. If you're gonna talk about how big and hard you are in the streets don't look like a (self proclaimed) 6'4 anorexic white guy(not trying to dis anorexia), but MGK looks like he doesn't eat food.....let alone hold down them streets. The last Rapper I remember rapping with no shirt on in video's(granted I never watch them anymore, who does?) was 50 Cent. Pretty sure he would've made MGK look like the little kid that he does in this video. Sadly I feel that's a generational issue, apparently if you cover yourself in tattoos and can put out some decent lyrics it means you're good/hard. Even America's rap game is getting soft. I had to Google who he was and have to agree. He is not much more intimidating than Justin Bieber.
September 17, 20188 yr I can’t believe anyone liked MGK’s track. I am so far removed from all of this, clearly.

Hop on YouTube and watch seasoned reviewers, with tons of followers watch it for the first time. Free entertainment at its best. Also, for the last 2 decades everyone has been flat out scared to go after Eminem. MGK, had no fear with his bars.

Then again, I don’t get most of the dumb crap celebrities do and so many people’s fascination of it.

People love this, brings a jolt of energy to the hip hop world. It also came as a shock, nobody has successfully came at Eminem like this. MGK did it for 5 mins straight without getting off track. I thought I saw MGK was #1 on iTunes with this solo.
September 18, 20188 yr Do you listen to a lot of hip hop? I dont come into musical threads a lot, so I don’t know. Not a ton these days, no. I don’t know much about MGK. I just know I thought the rhymes were weak, the disses felt like elementary school, and the hook was corny. This could be the best track of all time, but I don’t care for it.

This could be the best track of all time, but I don’t care for it. Fair enough. That was my next question, did you folllow all of tne references? He took some of Eminem’s hottest songs/lyrics and played them right back at him. You can’t deny the bars. Also, the boldness blows me away. On most diss tracks they reference people passively, MGK called him by every known alias Eminem has. It was visceral.
September 19, 20188 yr He had no fear, but I don’t think he said anything. That's interesting because I felt that way about Killshot. I feel like Em mentioned more celebrities names than he did MGK. I felt it was lazy effort on his part. Like he just spit bars because we expected him to. He came hard during his freestyle cipher earlier this year at the BET Hip Hop Awards Show. I wanted to see that Eminem but we didn't so I was disappointed.
September 19, 20188 yr For the record, neither of these diss tracks would make my Top Twenty Diss Tracks of All Time list.
