October 30, 200619 yr Any team that finishes 6-6 and gets a bowl bid shows the crock that the bowl system is. Why reward mediocrity? If you can't even finish with a winning record, you don't deserve special recognition and honor.

October 30, 200619 yr I heard Oscar Combs talking about it on the pre game this weekend and he said that the SEC would probably have to get two SEC teams in the BCS for UK to make it in a bowl with a 6-6 record.

That is if everybody else fill there conference tie ins. If they are 9 teams bowl eligible out of the SEC I think all 9 will get in. Some conferences will not have enough teams bowl eligible. I think they will be a few teams out of the SEC with 6-6 records. UK, UGA, Bama, South Carolina. If UK beats Georgia the Bulldogs will finish 6-6 and the cats have a chance to finish 7-4. South Carolina has Clemson left, at Florida, Middle Tenn. and Arkansas. Bama has Miss St. , Auburn, LSU. Georgia has UK, Auburn and Ga. Tech.
October 30, 200619 yr So, you're admitting they don't deserve it beyond the fact they might travel well. When did I say otherwise? They aren't a great team...they aren't even good. They have some weak teams on the schedule and if they get 6 wins, being an SEC team, and being that they have a good group of fans...they'll get a bowl.
