Winning seasons but....

....missed the playoffs this year

1A

Green County (6-4)

3A

Bullitt East (6-4)

Anderson County (6-4)

4A

Simon Kenton (6-4)

Tates Creek (6-4)

Two teams -- Pulaski County (3A) and Garrard County (2A) -- made the playoffs with just two wins. No teams with one win or no wins made the playoffs

Correct me if I am wrong, but next year there may be teams that finish 0 - 10 and still make the playoffs.

In theory it is possible. There are only 4 teams in the Lexington district. You don't have to win a game and you make the playoffs.

Yep, just like last year's girls basketball tournament when an 0-23 team got to play in the district tournament, and it has happened in baseball as well.

Don't worry, they'll be eliminated quickly.

Man I hate to see a team winning 6 games and still not making the playoffs, to bad

Next year with the new systen 87% of the teams in KY make the playoffs. Think about the other 13%.

Here is the big school computer rankings in SW Ohio after the 8 playoff teams in 1A (big School) Each of these teams are sitting home while Moeller at 5-4 goes in as the 7 seed and gets Colerain first round.

Anderson Co. stepped way down in scheduling against talent this year. This explains 6 wins and no playoffs. Not an insult, they just needed to do that this year to get back to winning.

There are good things going on at Anderson. People there are a class act as well.

Agreed..:thumb:

SK shattered school scoring records but they fell short of the playoffs, tough pill to swallow but you have to be able to stop the opponent also.
