Anyone have any updates from the Panorama this morning?

Curious to see how Nicholas Co. and Scott faired?

Did anyone attend this today? How did Scott and Brossart look? What other teams played well?

Brossart actually lost to Bourbon County. Bourbon won 3 out of 4 quarters and looked very impressive doing it. But the one quarter Brossart won, they pretty much ripped apart Bourbon.

Scott didn't look to bad and Nicholas still has a way to go...

Mason County was drilled by Dunbar and Dunbar, overall, was the best team in the event.

Harrison County could be in for a long year but I'll give a lot of credit to Conner, they're not a bad team.

Tates Creek had an easy time with Deming.

Paris blew away Bracken County. This Ladyhound team is loaded with a lot of overall team speed and quickness.

Didn't get to see St. Patrick, Bryan Station, Lafayette or Pendleton County.

I would like to take this opportunity to "Thank" all of the coaches, players, and fans for a great day of basketball. I didn't get a chance to see

a lot of the games at the elementary gym, but my coaches over there assured me that there were some competitive games over there. Having an opportunity to scrimmage before the season begins is great because it allows us an opportunity to really evaluate and access our teams, and correct things before the season begins and games actually count. No matter if your team won or loss the scrimmage game, we all have things that we would like to see our teams do better. Again, I would like to thank everyone for making yesterday a success, and we look forward to seeing you throughout the season, and I hope that will come back again next year. Good Luck to you all. :thumb:

Mason and Harrison did not look good??? Could this just be a case of preseason butterflies or could this mean that both districts could be closer than in the past?

Conner have any new stand out players?

I'm surprised at the Bourbon- Brossart game; doesn't Brossart return the majority of their starters from last year?

Did anyone attend the games at the elementary school?

Brossart returned all of their starters and as far as Mason County goes, they still have a good team but Dunbar is loaded. The Lady Royals' problem will be the fact that they don't have a bench. Dunbar's speed and deep bench was the difference in that contest!

Bourbon County will be a team that should be watched very closely and I wouldn't count out Paris just yet either.

Also heard that Pendleton County has a pretty decent team but I didn't get to see them play.

Mason was not drilled by Dunbar, Dunbar has an excellent team, athletic and talented. Mason Co was drilled in the first quarter 21-5, but only ended up losing by 11.

I wish I had a dollar for everytime that Harrison County looked horrible in December and then went to AT LEAST the semifinals in the region. Don't read anything in to how Harrison County looks in December.

I remember one year that they were around 500 coming out of December and then ran off a double-digit win streak in January/February.

I did see Scott High play Nicholas County. IMO, it was pretty evenly matched. However, it is unfortunate, for some of the Scott girls that some of the more experienced girls on the team received quite a bit less playing time. I am all for promoting and giving the younger girls an opportunity to show what they can do. I think it is going to be an interesting and possibly long season for some of the sophmores and juniors on the varsity team.

Harrison doesn't have the star that they have had the past few years, but will be solid. As mentioned before, they are usually slow starters.

Turley was expected to be that person. Can she not do it post-knee injury?

Hasn't shown it yet. Big boost for Fillies if she can pick her game up. Just see Fillies though as a team with alot of people avg. 8-10 a night with a big game from somebody here and there with Turley most logical to have that big game.
