Ashland has some playmakers.

I know Harlan County lost quite a bit from their state semifinalist team last year but this is still a pretty impressive beat down from Ashland.

Harlan County graduated so much from last year, plus they lost their QB to injury. Only time will tell just how strong this win is. But there's no denying how good Ashland looked tonight. They've got a great QB, tons of speed, and a stifling defense. The Cats are in for a very good year, I think.

Harlan County may not be as good as they were last season but from observing this game Ashland is much better at this early point of the season than they were last year. Brandt is going to be a really nice addition to the team and sophomore running back Pittman is a threat to take it to the house anytime he touches the ball. Bryant at DE seems to be in on nearly every defensive play as well.
