Sounds like you will be ready for the Royals basketball opener in a few months.

That's my hope!!!!!! Home rehab starts tomorrow.

Sumoroyal, At my age Ihave had many friends have your same surgery. All of them have told me the rehab is the key to the very best results. Good luck and here's hoping you get that youthful spring back into your step.

Still rehabbing at home and improving everyday. Knee still hurts when bending but that goes with the process. Back to Lexington next Thursday to see doctor.

Rehab going great and knee is bending better. Up to about 90% and trying for more. Doctor appointment tomorrow in Lexington.

Next big accomplishment is getting off the Walker and going back to my cane. Right now that seems scary.

Went to the doctor and he says I am doing great. Don't have to back for one month. Just keep up rehab to get ready for basketball season.

Walked with a cane for the first time and was not to bad. Getting better every day, hopefully.

Need some of your posts about the REDS before the season ends.

Doing better every day but fighting with insurance company over my rehab visits. Wants me to do out patient rehab when I can't drive yet. Just started doing steps. If it is one thing it is another.

Glad your knee is progressing!

What kind of flexibility do you expect when all is said and done? Will you be able to extend to completely straight or more and what about bend presuming full bend is something like 145 degrees? I am curious as at some point (I am putting it off as long as possible), I am told knee replacement is my only option. I can only straighten to about 10 degrees, and I can only bend about 95 due to osteo-arthritis. Good news is my cartilage is holding up, so I don't have bone on bone walking, just poor flexibility.

Thanks in advance!

I am different than most do to my weight. I am now at 105% and about 2% on straighting. They believe this is somewhere close to where I will end up. After all swelling and soreness goes away should get in the 110 to 115 range. This is all my good knee does.
