Brock Lesnar staying with WWE?

Featured Replies

That had to create that sham title when they split the brands.

Why though, its never defended, its like it dont existed, except on paper.

Because only one "Championship Title" creates all kinds of issues when you have two brands.

Side note, doesnt the current situation prove the Universal Championship is kinda useless.

Right now it is. Has been ever since Goldberg took it off Kevin Owens forever ago.

It's definitely been a sham for quite a while, with Lesnar only defending it a handful of times. But it doesn't have to be. I would rather them have just the one WWE Championship & the holder of that title can float from Raw to Smackdown and so on.

Maybe the dumbest thing about the Universal Title is that it's had 4 title-holders (Lesnar, Goldberg, Owens, & Balor). Three of those guys lost the title, but none of them got the promised rematch clauses that WWE advertises so often. Balor never got a rematch after his injury. Owens didn't get to challenge Goldberg. And Goldberg didn't have a rematch with Lesnar. And when Lesnar loses, he'll not get it either.

So stupid. :lol2:

First of all, since I have been back watching the WWE the last few years Goldberg was by far the worst act and worst wrestler of all time. He was pathetic. Additionally (at least in my mind) Goldberg ruined Lesnar's mystique because their matches were all so horrible.

And I agree on the rematches, the bottom line is the WWE thought they needed another title and they didn't give it much thought beyond that and now it is pretty much a turd in the WWE punch bowl.

Looking more and more like Lesnar is staying with WWE. He didn't re-enter the drug testing pool for the UFC so he won't be fighting in the octagon anytime this year. UFC was offering him the next shot at the heavyweight champion but he would have rather fought Jon Jones, Jones of course is having issues with the United States Anti-Doping Agency.

This is great news for me but I do wish he would start showing up on Raw more often.

Is it a done deal that Ambrose isnt going to return to WWE?

From what I've read, he will return sometime before the end of the year, It's a possibility you could see him by SummerSlam, but not definite. He was spotted training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando in early June and had reportedly moved to Birmingham, Alabama to focus on rehab full-time.

Brock just faced off with the new UFC HW champ in the octagon. Looks like he will be back in the UFC?
