July 2, 20188 yr So Lesnar had until June 29th/June 30th to re-enter the USDA drug testing pool in order to fight in the octagon for this year. I have not seen nor read anything about him entering the drug testing pool. Also, the person that UFC wanted him to face is likely retiring following loss to Stipe Miocic and another issue that leaves me to believe Lesnar is staying is that Lesnar was scheduled to defend (more than likely drop his title) at SummerSlam, he is no longer working the Summer Slam PPV.
July 3, 20188 yr I'll believe Lesnar isn't working Summer Slam when I see it. I think the whole thing is a work to turn fans against Lesnar, hoping they will support his opponent, who will likely be Roman Reigns.
July 3, 20188 yr Author ^ it could be but according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Lesnar is no longer working Summer Slam. If Reigns doesn't beat Lesnar this time (if it is indeed him who gets a shot at Lesnar), how many more chances will he get?
July 3, 20188 yr ^ He tweeted this on Saturday: Mike Johnson @MIKEPWInsider At no point did I definitively report Brock Lesnar was NOT working Summerslam. As usual, terrible interpolation by usual suspects regarding what I did say. I believe he stated that it was a possibility, but not a definite thing.

Maybe Braun cashes in. Regardless, if Lesnar really doesn't work, they need to strip the title and do a tournament to crown a new champ. Raw really needs a lot of help right now. Last night was terrible IMO.
July 3, 20188 yr I think Lesnar is the worst money the WWE spends on talent and it isn't even close. I can't stand part time wrestlers and definitely not part time champs.

Last night was just awful. I'm a huge Brock Lesnar fan but I'm in agreement with everyone else, he needs to start showing up. Even if you don't defend your title every night, show up most of the time instead of being like Taker and having just a few appearances a year.

Probably the biggest one WWE has with the possible exception of Cena & Rousey. But he's not helping the product with his extremely sporadic appearances. If Vince insists on having him around, I'm fine with that. But he shouldn't be anywhere near the title scene under the current situation.

I'm not a fan of part-time champs, but I'm fine with part-timers. What I don't like is when they load up Wrestlemania with part-timers and take valuable spots away from some other deserving full-timers. They should sprinkle them out on other PPV's or even regular Raw or Smackown shows, especially since the TV contracts generate enormous revenue for the company. The Undertaker on a Raw or Smackdown would really pull some ratings for the company. An event like Wrestlemania will sell itself & doesn't need all the part-time hoopla IMO.

I am okay with a part timer as long as that part timer isn't a champ for obvious reasons. And on Taker, I thought he retired and that last thing he did at Madison Square was stupid. Ever since WWE went public the product is less and less attractive to me.

From what I understand, Undertaker was't happy with his Wrestlemania performance against Roman Reigns. When he got his new hip, he felt like a new man & decided to get back into the ring a few more times. I'm sure he likes the money too. :lol2: WWE definitely caters to advertisers. I understand why they do that, but it does sometimes hurt the product.
July 3, 20188 yr Side note, doesnt the current situation prove the Universal Championship is kinda useless.

Or at least when they are a Champ, they are less part time during that time frame.

July 3, 20188 yr Or at least when they are a Champ, they are less part time during that time frame. Right. I feel like the WWE is on a direct course of driving me away from it.
