MJAlltheWay24 Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 Reds come off a sweep of the Tigers and the Cubs are coming in for a four game series. Personally, I need the games to stay dry, could be a solid stretch for me if we can avoid some rain.
HammerTime Posted June 21, 2018 Posted June 21, 2018 @Reds The #Reds today placed OF Scott Schebler on the bereavement list, recalled from Triple-A Louisville OF Phillip Ervin, optioned to Louisville LHP Wandy Peralta, selected from Louisville the contract of LHP Kyle Crockett (#51) and released C Tony Cruz.
plantmanky Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 Not sure what makes me happier, that Winker hit that Grand Slam, or that he did it against the Cubs.
plantmanky Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 Lorenzen needs to go, he cant do anything but bounce the ball to the plate.
sumoroyal Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 Reds win game one behind good pitching from Harvey and a Grand Slam from Winker.
HammerTime Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 Harvey certainly fixed his velocity issues. Hopefully we can get something decent for him soon.
nkypete Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 Reds win game one behind good pitching from Harvey and a Grand Slam from Winker. Winker almost hit the Toyota sign again.
HammerTime Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 Lorenzen needs to go, he cant do anything but bounce the ball to the plate. The guy with a 1.50 ERA?
TAC Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 Buddy who is a huge Cubs fan sends me a text last night asking what happened to the grass on the field. I told him about the concert that was there last weekend. I told him I was there Tuesday night and never noticed it from my view from the diamond seats. I’ve been traveling so I still haven’t seen the damage.

MJAlltheWay24 Posted June 22, 2018 Author Posted June 22, 2018 Buddy who is a huge Cubs fan sends me a text last night asking what happened to the grass on the field. I told him about the concert that was there last weekend. I told him I was there Tuesday night and never noticed it from my view from the diamond seats. I’ve been traveling so I still haven’t seen the damage. The damage is extremely evident from the upper deck. The company that was supposed to pick up the flooring the used for the concert didn't have enough guys to take care of it Sat night and/or Sunday, so it didn't happen until Monday. Apparently they've been watering it like crazy.
MJAlltheWay24 Posted June 22, 2018 Author Posted June 22, 2018 Not sure what makes me happier, that Winker hit that Grand Slam, or that he did it against the Cubs. You could feel all of the air deflate out of 3rd base line, where I was working. Sort of awesome haha!
sumoroyal Posted June 22, 2018 Posted June 22, 2018 Votto just struck out with the bases loaded and he never swung at a pitch. I just don't understand him. All of the pitches were border line and he never swung at any. Very passive instead of aggressive.
HammerTime Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 Long ball continues to be a problem for Castillo.
