I know I don't always get along with the SK faithful, but I hate to see anything happen to the players. Hope there is a speedy recovery for Mike.

Who Mike himself? I dont think so. Trust me he will not miss anytime.

 

For your information, it was him who provided the info to my source. As far as him missing time, it has yet to be determined how much he will miss, but he will be missing time if the preliminary diagnosis is correct.

Why is that weird? I dont have any close ties to Mike himself but I have been following SK since I moved back up here. And I have a few close ties to the team but not Mike in paticular.

Tough break for Mike, especially with this being his senior year. As one person posted earlier, if I'm Austin Hill I'm taking a few days off to make sure the injury bug passes through nky completely.

 

Two of NKY's top Point Guards will be out most of the season this year with broken ankles. (Jefferson and Hester). Wish both a speedy recovery.

It is not sure as to whether or not he will be out because he has a few options, he can have surgery and miss some time, or he has the option to cast it and miss some time, or he could just take it easy for a few days and then play through the pain until the end of the year. The decision is up to him and his family.

If he has a bone break other than the ankle I'd say he could make a quicker comeback, a broken ankel on the other hand could take some time but they do say a broken ankle is better than a bad sprain.

It is a small bone or growth plate or something in his foot. It is possible to still play on but he will feel pain, and probably end up having surgery after the season.

It is his growth plate and from what I hear he has been dealing with this for years. It kind of flares up on him from time to time. Word is that he is just taking some time off from practice and should be ready to go in a couple weeks. I havent heard anything about surgery.
