Beechwood advances. I’m hearing finals Sunday at 5:30 in Lexington.

Someone told me that Somerset played 2 or 3 games the last two days between the last round Sunday and today's semis. If so it seems like they ran into a nice Beechwood team and may not have had any legs left.

Hazard did the same. Played Hancock County then came back home to play a home and away game with both Johnson Central and Floyd Central then went back to Lexington to face Raceland.

Beechwood won 12-2 in 6 innings. Devin Johnson led Beechwood with 2 homeruns which included the walk off homerun in the 6th. Evan Schlinger threw the complete game..Castleman, Odom, Berger, and Hutton all with multiple hits..

Good luck to the Beechwood Tigers in tomorrow's title game! This title game versus Hazard will be a rematch of the 2016 title game. Go Tigers!! Bring home another championship!
