May 4, 20188 yr Author I read a quote from the Russo Brothers that everyone that died in this movie stays dead. IF that is true, it could lend some credence to a theory that I heard the other day, and that was, rather than killing half of the population, Thanos used the power of the reality stone to just send half of the population to a different reality. Which basically means nobody died....at least as a result of his snap. But Loki, Gamora and those killed in battle beforehand could very well be toast then.
May 5, 20188 yr Alternate realities and pocket universes are a staple of Marvel Comics so this is entirely possible.
May 8, 20188 yr Groot’s last line of the movie when he was being held by Rocket while fading into dust was, “Dad”.

May 8, 20188 yr Through 3 Avengers movies, the one that I am constantly surprised comes out unscathed is Black Widow. Is she highly, highly trained? Sure. But she has nothing "extra special" (strength/stamina) like some of the others. She doesn't even have special weapons, does she? She has Elite level fighting and survival skills. You better leave ScarJo alone!!!!!
May 8, 20188 yr I’m looking forward to Ant Man and Wasp more now than ever and really really really looking forward to Captain Marvel next March. The Avengers movie next May can’t get here fast enough. I was ready to get mentally prepared for the next battle scene when the movie ended. How come no one anywhere is talking about the parallels between Thanos and God? That symbolism stood out to me more than anything but no one is talking about it.

I can't explain why, because I really enjoyed Ant-Man, but I'm not looking forward to the sequel at all. The trailers just have not done anything for me to this point to get me excited.

May 8, 20188 yr Author I took my son to see it Sunday. There was quite a few more women in the theater this time, versus opening weekend. The "deaths" of the characters at the end got a much more vocal/emotional reaction. (Black Panther, Quill, and especially Spiderman.) I'd swear there were probably some actual tears shed.

Yeah, when my wife and I watched it I noticed that there were some younger women that had audible sobs when Spidey faded away. I think most of the men were already mentally prepared coming in so we...I mean they handled it pretty well.
May 8, 20188 yr Did anyone else take their wife to see it even though your wife has only seen a handful of MCU movies and she walked out of the theater gushing about how Thor was the best one and her favorite one even though she hasn’t seen any of the Thor movies? Just me? Damnit. Thought so.
