March 29, 20188 yr Author I'd personally love to see a new, more realistic version of All Quiet On The Western Front made. I know they made a movie about the Gene Hambleton/Bat-21 rescue in Vietnam was made into a Gene Hackman movie back in the 80s, but man did they do a hack job of changing what actually went down. Hambleton's Medal Of Honor winning, Navy SEAL rescuer wasn't even written into the whole damn movie. That's one that deserves an accurate remake as well. Michael Herr's book Dispatches was somewhat of an inspiration for some of the characters in Apocalypse Now and Platoon both, but I think it deserves to be made into it's own stand-alone movie. I would like to see Tim O'Brien's novel The Things They Carried made into a movie too.
March 29, 20188 yr I'd love to see them make a movie regarding the Baatan Death March. I think it would be brutal/tough to watch at times. But I think its a crazy story that not many know.
March 29, 20188 yr Author It is sooo much better than "Pearl Harbor". I've been told that several times over, yeah. I need to just put a reminder on my phone one of these weekends to make myself sit down and watch it.

April 1, 20188 yr Hacksaw Ridge- This was an excellent movie, it could never be my favorite movie but it was a movie that affected me greatly. I'm not a war movie kind of person and only watched it after Papaw previewed it.
