I agree. I really think the biggest threat in our society right now is the internet and media and there being no credible media that everyone considers unbiased and factual. Everyone chooses to believe their own twisted set of facts. It is so easy for fake news to be propagated through the internet and people on every side of an argument buy the version of "the facts" they want to believe as real.

Can’t wait till they bust that computer open.

Of course it does. Everything fits a narrative one way or another and then people choose sides. That’s what we do.

This problem ,while mostly a male problem, isnt just white males.

I'll look and see. Some groups count anything with 3 or more injuries, even if no fatalities as a mass shooting. Meaning robberies gone wrong, biker shootouts, gang on gang crime all sorts of things get rolled into the inflated counts. I think when most of us think of mass shootings we are thinking of events like the ones listed, not some Hell's Angel on a drive by shooting at another gangs club house. Also many domestic or family crimes get counted just because there are three or more victims, again these aren't the same as the Orlando night club or Marshal County shootings.

I hope the CDC really is cut free, so we can get an accurate and trustworthy study of mass shootings and gun violence in this country.
