Lloyd vs. Newport

Featured Replies

Your correct as usual Sandman. In a three way tie it come down to the "formula". 1 point for each win of 4 teams you defeated not including the teams your tied with. Lloyd's non-district schedule has allways kicked their butts in tie breakers. Newport and Spencer both have more points than Lloyd.

I believe it breaks down to Mercer-20pts Spencer-16pts Newport-13pts and Lloyd-3pts. The only team Lloyd has beaten with any number of wins is Spencer and they cannot be used in the tie breaker.

I think you are right.

If Newport and Mercer win, then I believe it will be:

Lloyd at Mercer and Spencer at Newport for Week 1

If Newport and Spencer win, then

Lloyd at Spencer and Newport at Mercer

If Lloyd and Mercer win, then

Spencer at Lloyd and Newport at Mercer

If Lloyd and Spencer win, then

Newport at Spencer and Lloyd at Mercer.

I don't know about you guys but I give up on this -- let's just way for the Saturday morning paper to come out and then we'll make our travel plans.

I agree that Newport beats Lloyd and BigMac has it right about the playoffs. As long as Newport and Mercer Co. Win on Friday which I would be shocked if they don't, then the first round of playoffs would be Lloyd at Mercer Co and Spencer Co at Newport.
