It was 16-0 at half. Lexcath couldnt find anything on Offense and they D just got so tired. The bluebirds played great football, the QB for lexcath got a concosion in the 2nd series in the game, Freshman Nick Ward, hope for a speedy recovery.

Talk about a player having a career game, No. 18 for Highlands, Jake Turner, had 4 interceptions in yesterday's game and recovered a fumble. Great game young man. Actually a lot of the Birds played very well yesterday. Well done. Now make the starters work hard in practice this week and get ready yourselves. You never know when you will be placed in the game. A lot of you play on the special teams, which will be a critical part of the game against CovCath. Make sure you know your assignments and go out and execute. You are critically important in the outcome of the game.

That is great to hear... Jake is a very nice kid and I'm glad to hear he had a great game. There are a few JV guys who could come up huge this friday if called upon...Huge games this week with the Frosh game on Thurs and Cch on Friday.
