Just left the field. Bleachers are being brought in from all over the city. We anticipate that we can hold 3000 fans. Parking will be difficult but there will be shuttles running from different places throughout the city.

Bethlehem has played well this year but I question there schedule strength. Bardstown will give them a reality check this week...BTown 35 Beth 13

I compare Bethlehem's schedule to Louisville's. They have only played one team that was ranked and supposed to be good but that team has been disappointing. (Miami/Holy Cross)

I still look for special teams and/or a defensive score to swing the game in the Tigers favor; Jackson will be held under 50 yards rushing-Eagles will be forced to throw more than they would like to...Graves may score 3 times....still like Bardstown doubling up the Eagles....

Bethlehem's numbers this year:

Marion Co. (5-4) W 16-14

@North Oldham (0-9) W 35-0

@Ky. Country Day (5-4) W 49-19

Ft. Knox (0-9) W 35-7

Lou. Holy Cross (6-3) W 25-20

Casey Co. (3-6) W 49-13

@Campbellsville (2-8) W 31-0

@Clinton Co. (4-5) W 48-6

@Green Co. (5-4) W 21-6

Totals Record = 9-0

Opponents Record = 30-52 (0.37)

Total Points = 309

Opponents Points = 85

That is pretty thorough. I am impressed. The only thing that I have to add is that Bardstown's non-conference opponents had a record of 18-17 and Bethlehem's 12-23. This would have to tip the strength of schedule over to Bardstown's side.

I would agree; that schedule makes a difference; some teams don't play the caliber teams that maybe they should in the pre-season that gets them ready for district play/playoffs.

I am waiting to make my prediction, but this will be the biggest game in Bardstown in a while, possibly since Male (Bush & Co.) came to town.

I love all the hype for this game. I think it makes it exciting for fans as well as the players. I think it would be more interesting if it were never played...b/c the tigers are going to roll. Btown 35 Bethlehem 7:lol:

Bardstown, because they have been here before, 28-14.

LIVE radio call-in show from 11 a.m.-12 noon Friday. LIVE 2-hour televised "Gameday" program from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. that day, that will also be on the radio. Radio pre-game at 7:00 p.m., kickoff at 7:30. All radio can be heard at this link: http://www.1320wbrt.com

4-page game special will rollout in the local newspaper Wednesday. Link: http://www.kystandard.com

All Louisville TV stations are supposed to be there.

Since 2003, this game has been known as the "Mayor's Cup." Don't know exactly how that came to be, but due to the size of the expected crowd, cameras present, and its vicinity to election day, you can bet that the politicians will be hovering like vultures.

Too much hype, if you ask me, but fun nevertheless.

Bardstown - 35

Bethlehem - 28

Bethlehem by 7, maybe more. You can not have too much coverage for a high school football game. Wish I could be there. This is the game of the week.

If the Eagles score 21 points, I will be shocked. If the Eagles don't display some sort of passing game I think it will be a very long night for the Eagles. On the other hand maybe they shouldn't pass because opponents passing has proved to be very productive for the Tigers in the scoring column. Boy, I do not envy a coaching staff trying to prepare for the Tiger defense. The Eagles best friend will be Tiger turnovers, If the Tigers win the turnover battle it won't be close.

Bardstown 28

Bethlehem 14
