While the realignment won’t be finalized until May there is already early talk about how strong 5A appears. Who are the early favorites in the new 5A?

 

IMO Scott County and South Warren will be the top two teams to beat more often than not.

South Oldham? Last three years in the Regional Final and State Semi's once. Believe they will compete!

BG and Cov Cath are the teams to beat. Cov. Cath would have beat Scott Co. and hammered South last year...and they're going to continue to be very good in the coming years. BG has won five of the last seven in 5A...I'm gonna go out on a limb and call them still the other team to beat.

Pre season I'll go with Scott Co. Every other team has questions surrounding them. I'm not aware of any for SC.

This is what I was wondering about. What will the split do to a normally very strong Scott Co? They cannot be playing at the same level we are used to seeing.
