Boy am I glad to read this. There was a wild rumor going around the Ashland section tonight that Kasey had broke his collarbone in an ATV accident. It's great to see that there was no truth to that. Congrats to Russell on the win.

Really? There was a rumor going around the Russell game that Matt Thomas had broke his leg during their game. I'm being serious too. Around the end of the 3rd quarter someone said Matt had broke his leg, I tried to call someone to find out but couldn't get a hold of anyone that was at the game.

That's crazy. It sounds like there may have been a couple of people with cellphones trying to mess with everyone.

UKCATSFAN, Since you went to the Russell game, could you please respond to Ms. Liberty's question about who the refing crew was. It isn't very often that a refing crew gets complimented in public or at their local meeting.

Very impressive passing game by the Devils. Jones puts an excellent touch on the ball. Frazure (spelling) looked very impressive catching the ball. East held Clark to very few yards tonight. You could see the frustration. It although allowed Beekman to run wild. Great game Devils.

Number 7 for East is the real deal. What a stud.

Kasey was only about 70% tonight. He's still suffering from the ankle sprain that occured last week. I think he still had around 100 yds but East definately played good defense on him tonight. It seemed like whenever he got the ball there was always 4 or 4 white jerseys around him. Coach Damron does a great job every single year of improving his players and by the end of the season East Carter will be a good football team. Alot of people have made the weakness of this district an issue but there are many good coaches in this district who know how to get the most of their players and by the end of the year a few of these teams are good football teams, with East being 1 of them. Coach Damron is a class act and a great football coach and I wish him and his team nothing but the best the rest of the season.

Yea no problem!!

Russell looks very good. I thought the game was very well officiated. Who was that crew? they did a great job controlling certian emotions.

It was Bob Smedley's crew. I thought they did a great job as well.

I heard the same thing, even repeated it to a buddy. Oh well guess I lied.

Yea, they probably thought it was funny too.

I just heard Fleming Co. beat Morgan Co. 34-20. Well it sets up a championship game next week in Flemingsburg. Glad to hear the Matt Thomas injury was a rumor. And hopefully Kasey's ankle will continue to get better. I think he had 85 rushing yards and 40 recieving yards with 1 TD! He also had an interception. It was a good senior night for the Devils. I believe that this senior group has not lost a varsity game at home.

Russell has not lost at home since 2003, so that's a safe bet.
