I'm not sure that they were illegal either. It's not as simple as you might think. It depends upon the age of those involved (some of the IM's, including one of the most nororious IMs the page was 18 years old.). It also depends upon where Foley and the recepients were located since the age of consent is different in different states. It also depends on what laws were in effect at the time in those states since laws relating to the internet are in a state of flux and the laws in effect now may be different than they were a couple of years ago when most of this appeared to have happened. The best I can say is that the IMs were probably illegal.

I wouldn't have trouble trusting my boys with Clinton at any age. My daughter is 18 so that's a different story. Now with Foley, it would be the other way around.

How did Pat Dad's statement support Foley? Sounded more like a slam on Clinton to me. BTW, I heard a Dem running for Congress say that she thought Clinton was a great leader, but wouldn't let him near her daughter. :lol:
